Finally.....

I am so excited to finally be able and post about one of our dearest friends, Casey and Candace. They are pregnant with their first child due in September. I am absolutely thrilled for them as I know they are going to be great parents. Connor is excited to, but now he is a little afraid of Candace's stomach. One night I asked him if he wanted to tell the baby good night and pat Candace's tummy. He wanted nothing to do with that. It kind of freaked him out. He is really cute about it and at one point asked me if their was a baby in my tummy (the answer was NO!) and then said their was a baby in his tummy.

Candace had a miscarriage about a year ago and so we have been on pins and needles with this pregnancy, but she had three sonograms and the doctor says everything looks good. In fact when they went for the 12 week appointment this week they ended up doing a sonogram, because the baby was to busy moving around to get his heart beat on the dopler, the doctor looks at them and said "I think I know what you are having, do you want to know?" Candace and Casey both said absolutely. So Candace and Casey are having a......

BOY!!!!! Even more joy in more heart, well except that I would love to watch Casey raise a princess, but we still have lots more time for that.

There are going to name him Carter. I have been telling Connor all about his new friend Carter and that he will be able to teach him about cars, trains, baseball. Connor was real excited about that. He even wants to invite Carter to his birthday party. How sweet!!! We are all looking forward to his arrival in September. CONGRATULATIONS CASEY, CANDACE, AND OF COURSE, CARTER!!
