Yes, it has been awhile since I last posted, but that is for a different post. Several weeks ago we had the opportunity to take Connor to his first Longhorn football game. We got to Austin in time to tailgate and visit with my cousin Terry Michael and his wife Jenni. Our babies will be right around three months apart and we are looking forward to that. One thing we learned about Connor, he is a bit of a bathroom snob. He refused to go to the bathroom in the port a potty. Of course, I had already refused to take him so Papa Jack did the honors. He wanted nothing to do with it.
Connor loved the band and watching the football players warm up, but when they came running on the field and the cannon "boomed" he was ready to go. Luckily, UT was playing Rice so Connor and I watched the first touchdown and then off we went to shop. A stuffed "Hook'em," popcorn and coke later we were back in the stands for halftime to watch the alumni band. It is amazing the way popcorn cures all in our house. Connor watched the second half with little problem. We had a blast!!!
The next day Connor told Jason and me that he did not think him or the baby should go back to that football game for awhile, it was to loud!!!!
