Field Day 2012

This past Monday was Connor's field day.  Connor was paired with Zeke and Miles, both who are on his baseball team.  He was very excited to be paired with them.  All of the first graders had matching shirts so there grade level was very easy to identify.  Zeke's mom, Becca, and I were the adult leaders for 4 different groups of 3.  We were very lucky that there were several other adults there to help as out as 12 1st graders can be a bit of a handful.  All in all everyone had lots of fun and we can put Field Day 2012 in the history books.

Then there was the 50 yard dash - Connor was convinced he would win.  Jason and I knew better and as expected a meltdown occurred when he didn't win.  Luckily Coach Kyle (Zeke's dad) was there to help out with the melt down as it was the first of several.  Thank you Coach Kyle!!





Between meltdowns and making sure we had all the kids and that it was hot, I kind of missed several or multiple events.  Now he was all smiles!

 All in all the boys had a gread time and that was what is most important!  We are winding down the school year, next up awards ceremony, end of year party and baseball playoffs so stay tuned....
