Ms. Piggy In Da House

No, Addison is not going to be Ms. Piggy for Halloween, however that would be fitting for this week.  Friday night Addison woke up throwing up and by Saturday morning she was running a fever.  Sunday morning we got the diagnosis...FLU!  Yes, Ms. Addison or Ms. Piggy as we are referring to her has the flu.  They did not test her for H1N1, because they will not treat it any different so are don't know foresure that she has the swine flu, but Ms. Piggy is much cuter of a nickname than anything we could come up with for the regular flu.

So far everyone else in the house has not shown symptoms, but we are watching VERY closely.  Addison is feeling much better today.  She isn't running a fever just congested.  She never acted like she felt that bad, even the doctor commented he was surprised when her test came back positive. 

These are pictures I snapped this morning.  She looks pretty sick, don't you think?  We are hoping to keep her home all week, just to give her immune system time to heal and get stronger.  We do not want her to get a secondary infection.

And finally, this is what the kitchen counter looks like when anyone is sick in this house.  Hopefully we can put all this up soon.
